Over the years I've grown a considerable amount to the point where I used to be the smallest thing in the whole group of friends that I hang out with, but now-a-days I am the biggest of the crew and they never let me forget the little boy I was not so long ago... I guess my drastic size change (not necessarily including height) started to happen around my sophomore year of high school when everyday after school we had workouts with the football team.
The workouts were a four days a week process filled with multiple ranges of physical activities such as upper body, lower body, back and bi all those goodies rapped into one. I didn't take the lifting quite so serious my freshman year I would also say our way of lifting wasn't so great then either with kids sometimes just up and leaving in the middle of our workouts..
The label wasn't a label to begin with everyone just started to notice that I wasn't little chance anymore and I explained to them that I'm still the same person they know just in a much different form and that they should accept me for me not the way I looked now. Everybody understood and began to accept that fact that I was a physical monster.

The Anonymous Bench...

A man in a nice black suit comes over to sit on me with his fancy briefcase, a pigeon comes to join him seeking some bagel. when the man does not give the bird his bagel the bird attacks. The man frantic throws the bagel and the bird somehow gets trapped. Next thing I know the briefcase is hopping around in front of me and then I hear screaming of terror from the rear then the sounds of fictional lasers, next thing I know the briefcase is flying around causing havic. The man being scared takes the bagel and uses it as bait to stop the bird. the bird exits the case and he throws his bagel and hits the button... I hear mechanical gears grinding. and then a rocket shoots... I'm scared for my life knowing that doom is imminent I start recalling everyone that has plastered their butt on me over the years, the simple bus stop bench. Next I know the rocket blows up and I am safe. I hear the coo of the bird... he has the bagel and the agent returns unscaved. police cars whale by and the agent returns to normal... well except the the rocket head that falls from the sky crushing the bird...

If I could be any one character from a TV show, movie, video game, etc I would probably want to be Michael Jordan out of Space Jam... 6x NBA Champion 11x All-Star Team, 8x NBA all defensive Team, and in the the 10 leading scorer's of all time... Pretty solid career if I do say so myself. However,
There was a point in time when Michael thought it would be a bright idea to pursue his dream of playing major league baseball... we all can guess how that ended... I digress, Michael in the movie plays himself being asked by all of the Looney Toons characters to help them stop this fleet of aliens from taking them back to Moron Mountain to be used as Amusement Park props. Michael accepts this challenge not knowing the aliens stole the potential from 5 of the best NBA players of that time period.
Faced with adversity Michael and the toons are in a fight or flight situation when the aliens challenge the toons to a game of basketball and in the first half the aliens just decimate the toons. During half-time Michael and Bugs give a gut wrenching speech about being able to get out of the current situation with the help of Michael's "Secret Stuff" the toons' motivation is replenished and they go on to make a major come back against the super powered aliens. After a while the toons get tired and ask for more of the stuff and Michael relays to them that it was just water and that what had been going on on the court was all about what they could do.

Okay Steven, you're being a real ass by choosing to do meth over live.... think about everything that you're going to miss out on while you're doing the things you are. You would be giving up your job, friends, family, your girlfriend that you supposedly care about, Steven she told me that she could be expecting and you're willing to give all of that away just to get your fix! You're the absolute worst person in the entire world for having me tell you how to live your life to get it back on track. I personally don't think you have the drive that is required to help you stop because honestly Steven once you start something you don't stop and that will ultimately be your down fall...
It's your choice to make for yourself, not for me to help you choose because honestly I don't think that you will listen to me because you never have before, why would you now with a serious addiction? Well whatever your final decision I know you still think of me as a brother

Well that was one big ordeal, just had to try and get internet connection in t=here for the first five minutes of this free write session... anyways uh I now have orange Play-Doh and all that I can really say is that it brings back memories of playing with it at day care with all of the other small children.

The good ol' bouncy ball... Ah yes this makes me remember days back at the boys and girls club as a child where everyday for almost three months at least one quarter out of my child pockets went into a bouncy ball machine in the hopes of completing the collection of billiards balls that the machine had locked within it's great depths. So let equate that to a real life eqtuation 25x*3=??? well I honestly wish I knew that answer because I would feel really immature about the ridiculous amount spent on tiny rubber balls.
On the bright side of my feelings being defeated I was able to complete the collection just before that summer had ended. Felt good, like I was the ruler of the land we (the children at the time) even traded the bouncy balls away to each other so that everyone could have a set only a few ended up prevailing with the full thing but it was like our own little economy of bouncy balls. Thinking back logically this should be a thing. What would happen if we replaced the U.S. dollar bill with a new type of currency? Would the price of a dollar re-inflate to other third world countries, or would the countries that we're already in debt to get really pissed and start another world war... crazy things man...
I definitely did not have very great times at the boys and girls club though, after the summer ended all of the friends that were there went back to their respective places.

Well, the world kinda sucks... I don't really think that I can change all of the problems around the world that make it a terrible place. It isn't even the world necessarily just certain people do certain things to make someone mad and then they start complaining to others about how so and so did this and blah blah blah blah blah....
Anyways, Don't complain, I wish it were that easy honestly because if I didn't have to worry about such trivial matters the day I'm late for class I wouldn't have to, but the one day my body decided to sleep longer than it should have I not only missed a test but also, multiple other assignments that just completely screwed me over for the entire week... I'm complaining now aren't I...
This weekend should be alright though, just have to work probably anywhere between 10-20 hours that is another thing I don't like not knowing a scheduled time to get off so for all I know I'm going to be back there all day slaving, but I'm not complaining.
I think what may be the cause of everything is bills, after the first month in a new place you kinda just get hit with the realization that the struggle is truly real especially if you don't have a very nice paycheck the period before.
You were right Mrs. Anthony, this is a good prompt to start the morning because in those short paragraphs I was able to get off my chest the few things in my life that are honestly stressing me right the crap out. Now I feel a little better and can go into the rest of my day without that weight on my shoulders.

     This I Believe...

  •         That life is constant challenge set in front of you based on all decisions ever made
  • I also need more help doing laundry because doing it so much just kills my feet walking up and down the stairs
  • WORKING A MINIMUM WAGE JOB IS THE MOST TEDIOUS AND TIME CONSUMING THING ON THE PLANET
  • Family truly does bring each individual in your bloodline together
  • Friends can mean more to you than any one depending on the impact they have on your life
  • Due to all the free writing that we are told to do in this class that my typing skills are reaching the point where they were at there best last time I took a typing class
  • A lot of things in this world get so hyped up that they just lose all of the interesting qualities they had when they started
Okay, we as a class heard you say that family truly is the centerfold of happiness, but what does family really extend to? I have family in my household that share no name, no blood, no ken-ship, no resemblance, the only thing that we share are interests and a roof over our heads, and I believe that I live with some of the best people this world has to offer. Maybe not morally or socially but they are still spectacular in their own ways and I wouldn't trade any of them... well maybe one of them haha. Anyways, wouldn't trade any of them for much because I know they would be willing to do the same for me through thick and thin. Whatever the next day may hold for all of us I know in my heart that they will make my day better regardless of it being a bad day or if it has already been the making for one of the best my life has experienced thus far.

My purpose is...

Very intriguing  that you would ask a Freshman in college what they believe their purpose is ... I believe my purpose in life is to help people. I moved out of my house a stable financial situation where no bills needed to be paid I had it easy all I paid for was gas, and instead I decided that moving in with some family and friends was a better calling because they were all in bad financial situations.
Helping people doesn't really sound like a whole lot of fun and it really isn't much better than it sounds, but the sense of gratitude you hear from them after everything is said and done is amazing.
Someday I aspire to become a certified S.M.A.T. Graduate from Missouri State University and go on to help high school or maybe even college or professional athletes around the country protect themselves or even help rehabilitate the injuries they sustain while doing what the love. I mean what more could you possibly want in life than to see the smiling faces on all of those people that you took your own time to help and rehabilitate.
While Athletic Training helps others I believe it has made an impact on my life as well before I could ever hope of changing someone else. The fact of the matter is nobody who wants to be in shape wants to take advice from someone who has terrible dieting habits and looks like they couldn't do 20 push ups. So Sometime last year I started dieting and exercising on a more regular basis and went from 270 to 250 lbs in a matter of a few weeks.
